Dalton Lobo Dias has taught Physics at the Nueva School since 2014, in Hillsborough, CA. He is currently finishing a masters degree in instructional design technology at SFSU. While at Nueva, Dalton has taught astronomy, rocket science, electromagnetism, and even ran an elective where students designed an experiment that was launched by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, and aboard the international space station! With a constructivist, low floor high ceiling approach, Dalton works to find just the right amount of challenge for students with a wide range of backgrounds and interests. He loves to work with gifted students, where we get to do fun and creative projects and hands-on experiments.
