ASK THE TEACHER:

What sparks your creativity?

I love the light, shadows, textures, shapes and colors that grace a nice garden, even a shelf of houseplants. So tending a garden or taking a walk outside are often accompanied by  taking some photographs, some of which I go back to edit and share.

What is something fascinating that you learned recently?

A friend taught me that the area of the African continent is only slightly smaller than the surface area of the moon!
